Ends of the Earth
Duchamp the Candle-Burner and Yusef Fourteen are scheduled to meet at the Pearl Promenade on the 9th Mark, 4th Cycle, 1st Crest, between Apex and 1st Lightfall. (Like, 1pm-ish.) Yusef holds Yat-Yat currently, and is selling it to Duchamp for an undisclosed amount. This marks the 5th time that Yusef or one of his brothers has held Yat-Yat, due to the blood link that was authorized at the time of Tesla’s death.
Yusef comes from a large family of brokers, and is no stranger to imp trade. He has a reputation for ruthlessly undercutting competition, a tactic which would earn him much greater ire were he not so well connected. He usually moves product much faster than average, which increases his volume of sale by enough that his undercutting causes him no loss. With the matter of Yat-Yat, however, Yusef has seemed more hesitant to unload him after each return from his new owners. If there is a problem with Yat-Yat, Yusuf has not mentioned to any prospective buyer, merely winking and remarking that “Some knowledge is not for everyone!” when asked.
Everything Must Go!
One of Fourteen
Duchamp the Candle-Burner
Duchamp is a scholar and inventor from a domain not dissimilar to the Earth Prime circa 20 B.E. He has not made anything of note thus far other than a few knicknacks and gadgets that are relatively interesting or useful, but certainly not original. He has made a fair living selling his trinket patents to various corporations to be turned into brightly colored bait for tourists, but as of late he has expressed dissatisfaction with his current arrangement. He responded to Yusef’s latest advertisement beacon for sale of the famous Tesla Imp, seemingly unconcerned with the imp’s bad reputation.
